Liver cutlets with tomato sauce

I bring to your attention a recipe for liver cutlets under a very tasty, aromatic sauce.
You can prepare potatoes, rice or vegetable salad for a side dish.
From the specified amount of ingredients, 10-15 cutlets are obtained.
Ingredients

  • 500 g liver (I used beef)
  • 150 g onions
  • 150 g carrots
  • 1 egg
  • 70-100 g flour
  • salt
  • pepper
  • vegetable oil

sauce:

  • 100 g bacon (I used raw smoked)
  • 300 g grated tomatoes
  • 150 g onions
  • 1 tbsp dried herbs
  • greens to taste

also:

  • 100 g cheese

Preparation

Pass the liver, onions, carrots through a meat grinder.

Mix.

Add egg.

Mix.

Salt, pepper.
Mix.

Add flour.
Mix.

Fry cutlets on one side in vegetable oil (fry for about 5 minutes).

Flip.
Fry on the other side (about 5 minutes).

Cooking the sauce.
Finely chop the onion.

Finely chop the bacon.

Finely chop the greens.

Grate cheese on a fine grater.

Put bacon in a dry skillet.

Fry.

Add onion.

Fry.

Add herbs.

Mix.

Add tomatoes.

Mix.

Add greens.

Mix.
Simmer for 2-3 minutes.

Put cutlets in a baking dish (I used a 20 × 30 cm dish).

Put the sauce on the cutlets.

Put out the cheese.
Put in the oven.
Bake at 180 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
