Muffins with dates and poppy seeds
Perfect with your morning coffee or evening tea.
I do not recommend replacing dates and poppy with anything.
From the specified amount of ingredients, 10-15 pieces are obtained.
- 150 g butter
- 100 g sugar
- 3 eggs
- 150-180 g flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 300 g dates
- 100 g poppy seeds
Remove seeds from dates.
Cut into small pieces.
Grind butter with sugar.
Add baking powder and flour.
Knead the dough.
Put the dough in the molds, filling them on ½.
You can use any molds (I used thick paper molds, they kept their shape well).
Put in an oven preheated to 180 degrees.
Bake for 20-25 minutes.
